Meet the Illustrators & Designers
Bella Lee
Co-Head of Design
Bella is a second-year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major, with her focus of interest lying in Neurobiology. In the future, she hopes to be able to focus on research dedicated to understanding the meta of learning how we learn. Currently she’s an undergraduate lab assistant at the Muth Lab. When she’s not leading the design team, Bella likes reading and building puzzles.
Emily-Mae McConihe
Co-Head of Design
Emily-Mae is a fourth year design major who's focus is on graphic, web, and print design. Outside of school she loves to paint, draw, read and spend time outdoors.

Japneet is a third-year Biotechnology major. She is especially interested in bioethics and biomedical policy and hopes to further this interest as she continues her educational career. She plans on specializing in bioinformatics and hopes to continue on to grad school before pursuing a career in this field. Outside of science, she enjoys writing and engaging in artistic pursuits.

Sam Mena
Scientific Illustrator
Sam is a fourth-year Cell Biology major. She plans to pursue graduate school with a focus on the mechanisms of meiosis and mitosis. Beyond her position as a Scientific Illustrator, Sam is an undergraduate researcher in the lab of Dr. Francis McNally. Sam also enjoys cooking and drawing non-science-based art in her free time.
Jay Sasaki

Jay is a third year Plant Science major. Their focal topics are agriculture, plant genetics, isopods, and vermicompost.
Joleen Dorothy Lindog
Scientific Illustrator
Joleen is a fourth-year Biological Sciences major. She plans to pursue a career in the VetMed field, focusing on small animals. In addition to creating graphics for the Aggie Transcript, Joleen is also a research intern for the Fangue Lab where they study fish physiology, and a casual volunteer with DPAW/Mercer Vet Clinic. Joleen enjoys drawing portraits, playing video games, hanging with her cat, and going to concerts!
