Meet the Illustrators & Designers
Bella Lee
Co-Head of Design
Bella is a third-year Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior major, with her focus of interest lying in Neurobiology. In the future, she hopes to teach science and conservation at museums and science centers. Currently she’s an undergraduate lab assistant at the Muth Lab trying to understand bumblebee construction. When she’s not leading the design team, Bella likes reading and building puzzles.
Kimberly Ayson
Co-Head of Design
Kimberly is a fourth-year Global Disease Biology major. She is especially interested in the intersection of human health with environmental health and hopes to further this interest as she continues her educational career. In addition to The Aggie Transcript, she is a volunteer at UC Davis Health for the Medical Surgical Department. Outside of academics, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing and creating music playlists for every occasion!
Jay Sasaki
Scientific Illustrator
Jay is a fourth-year Plant Science major. Their focal topics are agriculture, plant genetics, isopods, and vermicompost.
Chloe Sagan
Scientific Illustrator
Chloe is a third-year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major who is especially interested in cancer mechanisms and their impact on immune evasion. In her free time, she loves reading, climbing and exploring nature.

Alyssa Wong

Alyssa is a third-year Food Science & Technology major. She is especially interested in product development and food sensory. Outside of being a scientific illustrator & print designer for the Aggie Transcript she also is apart of the board for Food Tech Club & MyBaltoU. Her other interests include, baking, scrapbooking, music, and traveling.

Maria Ye
Scientific Illustrator & Print Designer
Maria is a second-year Genetics and Genomics & Philosophy Major who is fascinated by stem cell research and conservation genetics. She is a DJ at KDVS, a bus driver for Unitrans, and a lab assistant at the Fink Lab. In her free time, she enjoys doing art, reading, exploring nature, and trying to play the guitar.
Anaya Kamat

Anaya is a second-year Biotechnology major. She is interested in microbiology, biotechnology, and biomedical research, and hopes to pursue a career in the biotech industry.

Anselle is a third-year Environmental Science & Management major. Outside of The Aggie Transcript, she also loves volunteering at the Student Farm, birding, and drawing wildlife.
